Can NüTile be installed by a DIY’er or does it require a professional?
NüTile is completely DIY friendly and can be installed by anyone with minimal DIY experience.
Can I install NüTile externally?
Although NüTile is 100% waterproof, we do not recommend it for external applications.
Can I lay NüTile over my existing floor covering?
NüTile can be laid over most types of existing flooring. Existing flooring must be Dry, Dust & dirt free, Level & smooth and your existing flooring should not be loose.
How do I maintain NüTile?
NüTile is easy to keep clean and maintain. It’s recommended to use a PH neutral cleaning solution to prolong the life of NüTile. We also recommend sweeping.
Do I need to sand and revarnish NüTile?
Unlike solid or hardwood floors, NüTile doesn’t require any sanding or re-varnishing. With NüTile’s printed and protective layer, sanding can damage the surface. To prolong the life of your floor please see our maintenance & care section at www.nutile.co.uk.
How can I cut NüTile?
NüTile can be cut using the “Score & Snap” method. We would recommend using a Stanley knife. A concaved blade would give the most precise cut.
Do I need any adhesive to stick NüTile Down?
No, NüTile is a Click system.
Can NüTile be laid in a herringbone fashion?
No, NuTile is only suitable to be brick bonded.
Can I use 2 different pattens / ranges of NüTile and join them together?
Yes, if the patterns are from the same range, they can be clicked together. If using different ranges, it would be best to use a flooring “T” bar.
Does NüTile have any matching accessories?
Unfortunately NüTile doesn’t have any matching accessories just yet, however alternatives in the meantime can be purchased form any DIY outlet.
What size are the NüTile planks?
NuForest are 181.1x1219.2mm
NuStone are 305x915mm
Do I require an underlay for NüTile?
No, NüTile has a built-in underlay on the back of each plank.
What m2 does each pack cover?
NuForest = 2.21m2 per pack
NuStone = 2.23m2 per pack

Does NüTile have any guarantee?
NüTile comes with a 25-year residential guarantee. Please follow installation guide and for more information contact info@nutile.co.uk
Is the product sustainable?
NüTile has been tested by Intertek sustainability and achieved clean air gold certification. The raw materials are also tested regularly to ensure they meet and exceed the highest quality and health standard. NüTile doesn’t contain any harmful materials such as benzene, formaldehyde or phthalate. The production of NüTile also utilizes green renewable solar energy.
Can NüTile be used in commercial areas?
While SPC flooring can commonly be used in commercial areas, we recommend NüTile be used in domestic areas only due to its click lock installation system. Commercial areas require fixing with an adhesive.
Can NüTile be used in conjunction with underfloor heating?
If considering underfloor heating, only use heat elements that are built within the subfloor. The heating components must have a minimum of 10mm separation from the product. The underfloor heating system must be operational for a minimum of two weeks prior to installation of NüTile. Five days prior to installation, the temperature should be reduced to 18⁰C. After installation, the temperature can be raised gradually (1⁰C per hour) to a maximum operation temperature of 29⁰C. A thermostat with a floor temperature probe is recommended to avoid overheating. A transition strip must be used for any installation longer than 12m in any direction. It is also suggested to use a “T” bar in doorways. For any further information please contact; info@nutile.co.uk
How long does NüTile need to acclimatise before installation?
Allow boxes of NüTile to acclimate for 24 hours in room temperature. If stacking is necessary, stack the cartons in a crisscross manner - never stacking the cartons more than three high.
How will my NüTile samples arrive?
Your samples will arrive neatly packaged in a branded box. These will be sent on a next day delivery if ordered before 1pm.
Can NüTile be used in conservatories?
Due to NüTile being dimensionally stable, it is perfect for conservatories. However, prolonged exposure to UV rays may fade the colour.
What is NüTile made of?
NüTile consists of 70% Natural stone & 30% Virgin PVC as well as the highest-grade polymers and minerals fused together under heat and high pressure to bond the products.
